Incarceration has traditionally marginalized the voice of the prisoner. But the organizers, speakers and participants in TEDx in Prisons think that inmates have powerful stories and ideas worth sharing.  

These stories could be from those who are incarcerated and living "inside" or those who work inside the institutions but live "outside".

Here are just a few of the reasons why.
