For me, poetry is like a voice. When there's a dam that's in front of you where you can't express how you feel and you just want to tell the world so many things you want to express that you feel this homesickness, you want to express that you have a love sickness...but you don't know how to communicate these things so they build and they build and they build and that dam stays right there...something has to be released. And, see, for me, poetry allows me to release all those pent up emotions. |
