All alone in jail, with my mind clear of the drugs, I had an epiphany. For the first time in my life, I was terrified of my actions and fearful of the consequences. I understood that what I did was wrong. I felt such a magnitude of grief, pain and sorrow. Now, multiply that by 100 and that's probably how my victim's family felt.
