Sing Sing Correctional Facility is a maximum security prison in the Ossining, New York on the east bank of the Hudson River. It is operated by the New York State Department of Corrections and Community Supervision. There are about 1,700 men in Sing Sing.

The name "Sing Sing" was derived from the name of a Native American Nation, "Sinck Sinck" (or "Sint Sinck"), meaning "stone on stone"

The organization Hudson Link for Higher Education in Prison runs a project to provides college education to incarcerated people. The aim of this program is to help reduce recidivism and poverty, and to strengthen families and communities. The prison also has vocational programs, including computer repair, plumbing and heating, and electrical trades. Ministerial, Family & Volunteer Services include Alcoholics and Narcotics Anonymous and a alternatives to violence project.

The prison hosted TEDx in 2014 with the topic "Creating Healthy Communities".
