A TEDx event was help at Ironwood State Prison in May 2014. The theme of the event was "Infinite Possibilities".
This was the first TEDx to be held inside a California state prison. It was organised by Scott Budnick, the non-profit Anti-Recidivism Coalition, and the Ford Foundation. There were 36 speakers talking on the theme of "Infinite Possibilities" including guests from outside the prison, as well as inmates and staff.
The speaker list included Richard Branson from Virgin Enterprises, CSI: NY actor Hill Harper, astrophysicist Hakeem Oluseyi, former Secretary of Corrections Matt Cate
